I did finally manage to visit NID in october while the Chitrakatha animation festival was on... I managed to whip up a quick teaser for the Chitrakatha'13 edition!it was screened on the last day of the festival. Ignore the sound,I added it almost at the last minute :)

I just finished reading this graphic novel Skim by Mariko Tamaki and illustrated by Jillian Tamaki. And I found it truly brilliant. It gives an insight on Canadian Catholic Schools.

Ferry ride to Centre Island

 

On Victoria Day we made a trip to Toronto. We took a ferry and the ride was about 15 minutes long from Bay Street Toronto to the Centre Island. But it was breathtaking! 

The weather was so amazing,it complimented the ride even more!

Definitely one to go to again and again...

My sister Apoorva hates it when I make her walk alot or wait alot to reach someplace.

I dreamt of minarets today

It's funny but when i woke up today,I had an urge to draw minarets... And that's exactly what i did.

I haven't ever seen one in real life but this is what I could remember seeing in my dream.

Mississauga diary

As I walk down the streets of Mississauga, I doodle in my diary the wonderful things I see.

I'm in Mississauga,Canada at the moment visiting my dad.
This place is absolutely beautiful and one has to be here and witness what I'm talking about to actually believe it!


The first weeks were all about snow and snow and harsh winds and snow! And my dad kept telling me to look at each tree carefully and notice the changes...
And believe it or not,out of no where and very much all of a sudden the landscape has started changing from white to the greenest green and all sorts rich flowers are springing out everywhere!


These wild flowers are under the same tree which is covered in snow in the first picture.

Its been forever!
